Hi Alex,

Would it be possible to add "Wait for Master" status to the "test condition to test" ? I have a very complex test relation and this option would help me a lot.

Thanks,

Regards.

Jromariz.

Sorry,

Jusr another issue. It would be great if there was some kind of logical operators option on the "This test depends on" feature. Like if this test is on this status (*) that test is on that status.
Where (*) could be and, or nor, etc.

Hope you'll understand.

Tanks again,

Regards,

Jromariz.

Probably I understand your first message. I think you need one more condition in the list:
- perform test when Master test has "alive" status
- perform test when Master test has "alive" or "unknown" status
- perform test when Master test has "dead" status
- perform test when Master test has "dead" or "unknown" status
-perform test when Master test has "WaitForMaster" status"
Am I right?

May be in the second message you say about posibility to change list of conditions to editable logical expression? Like "Perform test when Master test has "Ok" or "Bad" status"? I am not sure this has sense, because HostMonitor has all reasonable conditions: alive, alive or unknwon, dead, dead or unknown.
Probably you mean something else?

Regards
Alex

Alex,

You're right abou the first one.
About the second let give you and example :

Supose I have one test (let's call it test 3) which I would like do start if teste 1 have a bad status "or" test 2 have a bad status. The way the program is now, I believe all the conditions must be true for test 3 to start. Hope it's clear.

Thanks,

Regards.

Hi Jromariz,

Don't be sorry I remember about your request, but now we have vacation time. We still provide support and can fix some problems. Several days ago we released HostMonitor 3.22, but I am afraid we will not have new versions till September.
Sorry

Regards
Alex
