When I install HM on a W2K DT under my lcal admin account and use the "Logon as" to make sure HM i satarted under my local admin account, I get the message "Unable to write to hostmon.ini" when i try to quit HM.
It also doesn't store the range of IP adresses I filled in to Ping
Anyone else had this problem under w2k??? It must be related to w2k, since it worked fine under w95, w98... |

I am running 3.19. I just had some strange results after I tried to setup an ODBC log database. The SQL test option actually created just one record in the MS Access database, but nothing else... and after this all tests disappeared from view - tho the status line indicated they were there.
I then deleted the .ini file and the tests re-appeared. ... hmm ...strange stuff with the ini processes.

Hm, strange problem. I think more than 50% of our customers use W2K. Does the same error appear when you change settings in the Options dialog and click "Save" button? Probably hostmon.ini file has "Read only" attribute?
