SMTP Test do not work properly

Post by Nax »

Hi!

I'm trying to use HM 4.62 (and 4.70 too) under WinXP SP2. Everything is fine, exeption SMTP.
I tried 4 different mail servers but I recieved only one answer: "No answer". I looked by Network monitor my network connection: HM try to connect, recieve answer and disconnect. HM don't try to sent any command to the server. In servers log I see that client disconnected as soon server answer to connection.

Thank you

Maxim

"No answer" means HostMonitor did not receive connection. Probably it was dropped by OS or some antivirus/firewall software. Do you have any antivirus software installed on that system?

For information: I have installed Hummingbird Connectivity V8.0 (Socks client).
