Event Log Central Management Program Needed!

Your company is so good at programming with WMI, I would like to see you build a program that will central manage event logs much like Host Monitor displays visual 'live' informaion.

All the programs I've tested are limited to LAN's not WAN's. I can tell you for a fact many Network Professionals like myself have many different clients. All ofcoarse on seperate remote LAN's only accessable through the Internet WAN.

The programs lack agent updates and configuring. The best I've seen so far is EventTracker at www.eventlogmanger.com... Reporting is good however charts would be better.

Once again, I can state for a fact from many Network Professionals I know, this is a tremendous opportunity for some programmers who know what their doing to get a nice foothold on the the event log managing market share.

Certainly event logs are here to stay and Network Professionals are overworked needlessly checking event logs.

I checked EventTracker. Interesting application. But you are right, valuable Event Log Manager cannot be implemented in HostMonitor. It should be separate system.
Thank you for express appreciation but I am not sure we will create such system.
We are thinking more about distributed monitoring system (much more distributable than HostMonitor). Probably this system will be able to collect event logs information. I have added this task as "suggestion" item.
