If HostMonitor crashes when you setup MySQL test method, it means LIBMYSQL.DLL that is installed on your system has a bug.
Download and use this one http://www.ks-soft.net/download/LIBMYSQL.DLL
You may copy this file in HostMonitor's directoty so it will not effect another applications.
