I try to generate a html report from test1 and also a html report from test2. I dont want to see the results from test1 in the report from test2. I use the private log function. When I check the 'exclude from html' box the test2 report will not generate.
I think you should put test1 and test2 into different folders (e.g. Folder1 and Folder2). In this case test1 will be able to produce report for Folder1, test2 will generate report for Folder2.
