Hi Alex,
regarding the question below: It's been almost 2 years now. Any update on that? That would be a REAL improvement for hostmonitor. Especially for us as we use hostmonitor to monitor our SMTP mailing system and if that doesn't work we won't get an alert via SMTP obviously.
Do you have any approximate time when this MAPI connection will be implemented?

We have created test application that uses MAPI protocol but its not tested enough so we not sure it will work on every Windows system.
You may try it by yourself. If it will work fine on your systems, we can create command line utility that could be started by "Execute external program" action.

If an external program is sufficient, you could also use mapisend.exe from the resource kit. The only problem is that it requires an outlook installation before you can use it. |
