Lost Action Profiles after upgrading

I just upgraded from 3.16beta to 3.19. I noticed I was not getting any e-mail notifications. Upon checking I found that none of my jobs had an alert profile selected and the custom profile I had created was no longer in the list. Is this going to happen everytime I upgrade? Is there something I need to do before upgrading to preserve these settings? Thanks for any help

I think you started installation program and used "Install" button? To keep all you settings you should use "Upgrade" button instead. In this case the program will overwrite executable modules, documentation, etc, but will keep all your previous settings.
