Hi Alex & friends

We are looking at using SSL certs for traffic between the HM web server & Chrome etc as more and more browsers prefer/insist on https.

I'm not clear on the details of how to install a (Let's Encrypt) cert & key as when I try these in PEM format and restart the web server, I get and error.

Error reading cert file c:\**** \ServerCert.pem error: 0906D06C: PEM routines: PEM_read_bio:no start line.

I can confirim that the cert & key both have the "----BEGIN CERTIFICATE-----" header & matching footer.

Reading the 'Help' it suggests that OpenSSL needs to be installed but I'm not clear if that's required just to use - as opposed to generate - new certs.

Thanks

David

Its installed by HostMonitor, you should see libeay32.dll and ssleay32.dll in WebService folder.

But this error appears regardless of OpenSSL.
May be there are some extra data in the file that should be removed?
May be wrong encoding, e.g. UCS-2 or UCS-4 instead of ASCII?

Regards
Alex
