Hi KS-Soft team and community!
I was trying to check the message queue size of a Exchange Server 2019. I would like to let a Active RMA get the message queue size from a remote Exchange Server 2019. Can this be done? I have seen that you use "Shell Script" to create tests using PowerShell. But only on local systems?
I have also tried to use the "Performance Counter" test. But it always tells me that this counter can't be found.
For example:
\\myserver\MSExchangeIS Mailbox(_Total)\Messages Queued for Submission
or
\\myserver\MSExchangeIS Public(_Total)\Messages Queued for Submission
Other performance counters do work. For example:
\\myserver\MSExchangeIS Store(*)\RPC Average Latency
Many thanks in advance.
Monitoring Microsoft Exchange 2019 Queue
HostMonitor version?
Shell Script can connect to remote system but I would suggest to use WMI tests.
You should see some Exchange templates unless you are using very old HostMonitor. You may click menu Tests->New->Windows (RPc/WMI)->Windows templates->Exchange and create a lot of Exchange related tests (or unmark some and create just WMI Query tests).
Use Connection Manager (menu Profiles) in order to set credentials for WMI tests
