We think sometimes Windows reports wrong date (e.g. you installed update on November 19 but Windows returns November 20).
But in your case it shows 2029 year?
May be someone played with system time?

Check if updates are installed and pending reboot.

The Last OS Update date worked fine until auto updates installed the updates and the machine was waiting for its reboot, then I started getting the response about the invalid date.

Once rebooted and updates applied the invalid date issue went away for me, the counter showed 0 days since updated and has been fine since.

I should add it was same version as Ben above, 2019 ver 1809

Windows version?
What exactly date was displayed?

We cannot reproduce the problem on our systems. But I think its good idea to check for pending reboot flags as well..

I faced with the same issue. My OS is Windows 2016. I saw this message for some servers, checked the servers, all was in pending reboot status. After reboot, the test returned normal value.

In my case, it just displays "Invalid date" message with Unknown status.

Also we are testing HostMonitor 12.61, it can check Kaspersky Security and ESET for Server (checks antivirus status, license expiration date, database age).
If you want to try, please send request to support@ks-soft.net

Version 12.64 may check Kaspersky and ESET software, available for download
https://www.ks-soft.net/hostmon.eng/news.htm

Unfortunately we could not test software using many different KAV and ESET licenses, would be nice to receive feedback (how HostMonitor works with different versions of ESET software and different licenses).

I just upgraded to 12.64, RMA 7.64, and configured an antivirus/ESET test for a couple Windows Server 2019 hosts running ESET File Security. The ESET GUI shows that everything is normal, but HostMonitor is returning status 'Bad', reply '0:286; ESET kernel not running:7.2.12004.2'.
