Sorry, we do not understand the question.
What exactly kind of container?

Windows Server container? Its just isolated process. So you want to monitor process? What exactly process? What it should do? E.g. if you want to monitor web server, use URL test.

Hyper-V container? Its virtual system with some OS.
What exactly OS? For Windows OS use Windows related tests. For Linux OS use Linux related tests.

Also, there are special tests for VMWare and Hyper-V..
