Hi there,

I have the problem that some HTTPS URL Request tests are not working.
We use the KS Hostmon in the version 11.97 and the hostmon is performing the tests it self.

We tests some sites which are available over the normal browers (like Chrome, IE, etc) but the KS Hostmon test get as status "No answer".

In the IP tools we see the following in the log:

Requesting https://host.domain.de .. Ok (URL is changed!)
Reply received (reply time: 587 ms)
-----------------------------------
HTTP/1.1 400
Date: Thu, 13 Jun 2019 07:27:18 GMT
Connection: close

Do you have an idea why we can not monitor this URLs?

Thank you in advance.

Bye, Robert

Hi Alex,

sorry it is not possible, because this are only internal available URLs from a service from our telephone centrals.

Windows version from the KS Hostmon server is: Windows Server 2012 R2
IE: 11.0.9600.19377

Bye, Robert

Sorry, we cannot say what is wrong without access to the server.
Try to check list of enabled SSL/TLS methods (versions), what ciphers supported; check server logs; check certificate for valid hostname, date...

Regards
Alex

Is there an option, that I can provide you an remote access (like TeamViewer) to our system that you can check this URL?

We need HTTPS access to the system.
What SSL/TLS options enabled on the server? ciphers?
Browser does not show any warnings related to certificate?

There are indeed certificate warings from the webserver, because it use a self signed certificate.
But I use in the URL test properties the ceckbox for "HTTPS: Ignore unknown certificate authority problems"

My browser connect to the page with: (copied from Chrome)
The connection to this site is encrypted and authenticated using TLS 1.2, ECDHE_RSA with P-256, and AES_128_GCM.

We cannot configure anything from this webserver because it is a virtual linux appliance from the manufacture Mitel.

Could you please send screen shot or export test settings into text file?

Please mark 2 options
- HTTPS: accept certificate with invalid host name
- HTTPS: accept certificate with invalid dates
