|
|
Hello genious people.
After playing with network discovery tool - I wondered if there an option to get from it the MAC address of the discovered node (local network of course) and write it in the list of devices discovered.
Many thanks! |

Yes, HostMonitor gets MAC address when possible.
But there is no list, there is map. So you need some list instead of map? Text file?

List/map everything will be ok.
I looked for it even in the right-click menu -> system information and didn't find the mac.
Can I make tests out of the discovery and add a comment that will include the mac?
Can I export a text file (report) with list of host names, ip, and mac?
Thanks!!! |

Network Map window does not offer any reports - nobody requested such function.
If you need to find host with specific MAC address, use Find function and expression like '%mac_addr%'=='00:00:50:00:00:40'
What exactly you need? Find specific device? or you need comment field with MAC address for each test?
