Hello,
is there an option to trigger a download/copy of a 3rd party log file through Knownhost?
Specifically:
1. I have a URL http://192.168.1.1/syslog.html that generates a log file every time this URL string is called.
Can I have Knownhost setup to run this URL every hour or so and then save the generated html file to a certain location or email it out?
2. Same for a log file location: Can KnownHost copy/paste th log file to another location to save it there and prevent it from overwriting?
Thank you.

Trigger download of external log file in monitoring tool
Knownhost? www.knownhost.com?

If you are asking regarding Advanced Host Monitor (HostMonitor in short), there is URL test method, it allows you to check web servers using HTTP, HTTPS protocols
https://www.ks-soft.net/hostmon.eng/mfr ... ts.htm#url
It may provide access to data retrieved from web site (e.g. %HTTPPage% variable) but its not designed to download and store files.
>Can KnownHost copy/paste th log file to another location to save it there and prevent it from overwriting?
Any simple script (e.g. BAT file with copy command) started on the schedule can do the job.

Alex
