It takes more and more time.
HostMonitor and Web Service code (related to maps) is not 100% ready but most functions implemented a while ago, code works fast and reliable, it can provide data for set like 8,000 hosts and 40,000 tests within 1 sec.

The problem - browser related scripts.
If you have 40,000 tests, or even 2,000 tests, you will not be happy with performance.
Code works much faster than a months ago but still too slow. Especially if you are using FireFox.
IE/Edge a little bit better.
Chrome/Opera the best.

What browsers usually used for HostMonitor Web interface?

i can tell you Alex ...

the big customers i visit are using IE and Chrome (banking companies)
the smaller companies (health care) are using ONLY IE .
the small customers i visit are using IE or Edge nowadays.

Firefox isn't used in the most companies i visit in the Netherlands.

Its slow on any browser, especially on FireFox.
So we implement 2 algorithms for map generation: fast for large networks and slow for small networks. Plus web interface will allow you to apply slow algorithm to entire map or to some part of the map (e.g. you will be able to select RMA with 500 connected hosts and apply algorithm to these items without touching other 15,000 items).
Also Stabilize button will allow you to stop items relocation when you think map looks good enough.

It will be released in version 11.00, may be end of 2017.
However if you need it sooner, we can provide Web Service with Map support (Beta) in August.
If you install HostMonitor 10.70 (should be available next week) and replace some WebService files using "secret beta" modules, you will see Map page.

Yes, we will enable it for license owners
in this way we can still not test ....

This topic started : Posted: Fri Mar 26, 2004 ... and still no map option available . I am not used to this from your side.
Please make it available as test / demo or trail .. so we can finally test it.
Stop saying that we have to buy the software before we can test (the map function) the whole package.

many thanks in advance
I hope we all have a nice 2018 !!!

and still no map option available
It is available for registered customers by request.
Please make it available as test / demo or trail .. so we can finally test it.
Evaluation mode allows you to test software for 30 days.
You are using our software for 7 years without license.
Stop saying that we have to buy the software before we can test (the map function) the whole package.
We have some free software but HostMonitor is not free software.
Yes, you have to pay when you are using it.
No, I will not stop saying this. That's our software and our rules.

If some of your clients use our software legally, they can send request to us and we will enable MAP functions.
If you install and support HostMonitor for your clients, you can order licenses for them. We provide discount when you order software on regular basis so you can earn some money.
Otherwise please uninstall our software from your systems and do not use it anymore. This way you will not violate law.

If you have other questions regarding license, please use e-mail. We will not discuss this anymore on the forum.

ok thats fair ! .. we will stop discussing it in this forum.

i just want to make 1 thing clear.
Youve said :

Thats NOT the case .. we are NOT using your software for 7 years.
We only use the 30 day evaluation and reinstalling after these 30 days, it every time to test some scripts out. Again we do not make any money with this in any kind of way !!! This because HM can not deliver
us any development / test license.
Otherwise please uninstall our software from your systems and do not use it anymore. This way you will not violate law.
I will do ... :(

I will send you some email in the future due forum rules.

Again .. i hope you will have a nice 2018 and all the best wishes from me.
