Hello,

We are trying to receive traps from an NEC system that supports SNMPv3 traps. Will Hostmonitor be compatible with this? In our initial tests we did not receive data into Hostmonitor

NEC said the following:

1)
"Also make sure that Advanced Host Monitor supports SNMPv3 traps - this is the most important step. The application can support SNMPv3 at the management level, but SNMP traps are a separate protocol and 3C only supports SNMPv3 trap."

2)
"Set the 3C SNMP port to UDP 161. SNMPv3 traps usually use this port and not UDP 162. Have your customer check his documentation on this"

No, SNMP Trap test does not support SNMPv3 yet.
SNMP Get, SNMP Table, Traffic Monitor supports SNMPv3

Do you have a time table for supporting them?

Not sure, this task has medium priority.
