I am pretty new to hostmonitor but was wondering if there was any automated way of adding servers to hostmonitor by any other means besides the GUI?

Is there any way to connect remotely via powershell or some other method to add computers to be monitored?

Thanks

You may add test items using import from text file of special format: http://www.ks-soft.net/hostmon.eng/examples/import1.htm

Import file can be generated by some script or Replicator application: http://www.ks-soft.net/hostmon.eng/replicator/index.htm

This file can be imported into HostMonitor manually, or automatically.
E.g. using "File/Folder Availability test" that detects import file in specific folder and starts HMS script with ImportFromFile command.

Please check for details at:
Folder/File Availability test: http://www.ks-soft.net/hostmon.eng/mframe.htm#tests.htm#fileexsts
HMS script action: http://www.ks-soft.net/hostmon.eng/mframe.htm#actions.htm#actScript
%NewestFile% variable: http://www.ks-soft.net/hostmon.eng/mframe.htm#tests.htm#macros
