Hi ,

I am facing the issue with the RMA service . The service is getting stopped or sometimes it is going to hung state(Stopping) . RMA manager is not restarting the service. When I am trying to refresh the RMA manager passive agents. The RMA manager is freezing and is not responding after that . Could you please tell me What could be the possible reasons for this behaviour of RMA manager and service.

Regards,
Devang

RMA version?
Windows? Service Pack?
Antivirus monitor?

Does this agent perform some ODBC test method?
If yes, what ODBC driver do you use?

When RMA does not answer, could you check resource usage for each process? You may use standard Windows Task Manager to check Handles, GDI and USER objects.
What is the total resource usage on the system?
How many handles/threads/GDI objects used by rma.exe process?

Regards
Alex

Its too old, we do not support it anymore.
HostMonitor version 8.80?

However it should not hung...
Some antivirus monitor running on the system? Which one?

I assume it was running fine for several years then you changed something on the system?
Or you installed this old RMA on some new system (while it still works fine on other systems)?

Windows NT 3.0? I don't think you can start RMA on Windows NT 3.0
(I am not even sure such Windows was released by Microsoft. May be Windows NT 3.5?)

Windows NT 6.1? Windows Server 2008 R2 or Windows 7?
Windows NT 6.2? Windows Server 2012 or Windows 8?
Are you running RMA on 3 different systems and all of them have the same problem?

Regards
Alex
