how to get the status of tests

we like hm so much，but it is a pity，that it can not draw topology of networks，we need topology which can show network status realtime, just like HM tests。
so we willing to develop some plug-in components to achieve the target。
but now we have a problem：can HM supply the API to open （us）。
first ，we need know how to get the status of tests by api，can you help us， tks!
and
do HM team self have the plan to achieve flexible topology function？
by draw custom topology ，but the color of topology mapping to the status of tests item。 i think it is easy to you�

If you just need test status, you don't need API - there are Text, HTML and DBF reports, Text/HTML/DBF log file, also you may use any database to store test results

HostMonitor does not have open API.
You may try retrieving test details indirectly using Telnet service or by using full logging to SQL server and getting data from it for your plugins.

We are currently working on network topology visualisation.
It will be available as part of Web Service interface.
