Is there a test in host monitor, to alert or indicate a bad or low battery?

What kind of battery?
What hardware and software maintains this battery?
What protocols supported?

UPS devices often provide such information thru SNMP protocol so you may use SNMP Get or SNMP Trap test method (check manual that comes with UPS device, find out how to setup SNMP agent and what OID should be used to check battery parameters)

Alex
