We are monitoring a lot of Dell servers running ESXi, among other things. Every 90 days, every server runs a RAID controller battery test. During the battery discharge and recharge period, the overall host health rollup state changes, because the battery sensor goes into 'discharging' and then 'recharging' states. Would it be possible to add an option to ignore certain sensors in the VM host status monitor?

Thanks.

Overall status changes as well? Yellow? Then HostMonitor should ignore some sensors AND overall status...

Otherwise, HostMonitor should provide name of the "yellow" sensor in Reply field of the test and you may tell HostMonitor to set "Normal" or "Warning" test status using "Optional status processing" options and expression like
'%SuggestedReply%'=='sensorname'
