RADIUS server testing

Post by clerevan »

Hi Ks-Soft,

I want to ask about RADIUS Server test, I've tried to make a test and it connected to my RADIUS, the problem is, somehow from NAS Ipv4 Address in the event viewer they said they use 219.62.105.0 Ip address, which is not belong to my company or my company public address, why this is happened? My Real WAP Client using their IP address as NAS ipv4 address. But for the Hostmonitor test, it showed that it using 219.62.105.0 Ip address. Is this IP address is a default IP address of hostmonitor when using RADIUS test?

Looks like mistake in our code.
If you are using HostMonitor 9.86, there is fix www.ks-soft.net/download/hm986c.zip
(unzip file and replace hostmon.exe module)

can you explain to me the where do we get that IP address? Is it from hostmonitor automatically make that IP address or Hostmonitor send IP address request to the outside (internet) first?

thank you

HostMonitor does not send request to outside(internet) during RADIUS Server test.
Just incorrect IP address is generated in request. Trying to find mistake in code...

Thank you very much KS-Soft! Now it's work perfectly. Btw Is v9.86 is already stable because I don't see any announcement in forum and since you've send me the newest module isn't it means it's not finish yet?

Thank you,

Christhoper

You are welcome.

I think we did not have any unstable version for a years.
But as you see there are some small mistakes, always, in every version.

There is correction for Web Service
http://www.ks-soft.net/download/ws406.zip
http://www.ks-soft.net/cgi-bin/phpBB/vi ... sc&start=0

I think we will have another release with these corrections and some new options in June.
