|

Hi Alex,
I have a small request for the formation of the value of reply for SNMP trap tests.
Normally, field reply always use the first line of the trap. If you add a filter "message contains OID" this line is used, containing the filter condition. This is good.
I got the case I would like to exclude several strings of alarms:
NOT (string1 or string2 or string3)
This I can only reach about the option "fit expression counters". Then, but basically the first line of the message for reply used.
The forwarded via SMS information found otherwise are often inconclusive or too long if all the values of the trap will be sent.
Would it be possible to offer an additional option with which one can determine the line even if the option "fit expression counters" is used?
Through a solution of the problem I would appreciate it.

Not sure I understand... what exaxtly means "string" in this case? Do you want to skip some counters by OID? skip some counters checking by counter value?
You don't know OID of the counter that should be checked?

Hi Alex,
I've been thinking again about the proposal from my.
Specifically, I would like the following:
- Exclusion of several possible values for a given OID using the "fit expression counters"
example:
Bad_CheckExpr = Yes
Bad_Expression = not (('The library is full.' In '% 1.3.6.1.4.1.2.6.182.1.2.71.1%') or ('The library is out of LTO cleaning cartridges.' In '% 1.3.6.1 .4.1.2.6.182.1.2.71.1% '))
- Are not these statements in the trap, I would like to receive an alert.
- This message contains the moment, unfortunately, only the first line of trap:
example:
1.3.6.1.4.1.2.6.182.1.2.11.1 = 7824912 L53 3584
- Or the message contains by Tune up reply feature all lines of trap:
example:
TrapAllValues:
1.3.6.1.4.1.2.6.182.1.2.11.1 = 3584 L53 7824912
1.3.6.1.4.1.2.6.182.1.2.21.1 = 03 0C 00
1.3.6.1.4.1.2.6.182.1.2.41.1 = 03
1.3.6.1.4.1.2.6.182.1.2.51.1 = 6C22
1.3.6.1.4.1.2.6.182.1.2.81.1 = 7035
1.3.6.1.4.1.2.6.182.1.2.91.1 = A
1.3.6.1.4.1.2.6.182.1.2.101.1 = ZE0202L4
1.3.6.1.4.1.2.6.182.1.2.61.1 = 01 01
1.3.6.1.4.1.2.6.182.1.2.71.1 = The operation has stopped because an error has occurred while reading or writing data which the drive cannot correct.
1.3.6.1.4.1.2.6.182.1.2.121.1 = Pc6Q
1.3.6.1.4.1.2.6.182.1.2.151.1 = 2
Attention: I need only the values of a given meaningful OID:
Example:
1.3.6.1.4.1.2.6.182.1.2.71.1 = The operation has stopped because an error has occurred while reading or writing data Which the drive can not.
To achieve this, it must be possible in my opinion, the options "message contains OID" and "fit expression counters" to combine:
The first filter is found that only the desired value of the OID is issued.
The second filter I can arbitrarily exclude many statements for which I would have no alarm.
I think now everything is clear.
regards,

I see. Yes, I think we can implement such feature...
