|
|
Hi,
Log Analyzer currently displays separate summary lines when:
- one changes the TestName
- if one changes the Method, for example a different timeout for a Ping test
I need quite often to slightly adjust the name of a test. For example, from "Server1 Free Space F:" to "Server1 Free Space G:" when I have to change the drive letter of a drive.
It makes sense to have the Log Analyzer recognize that those are in fact the same test. (Changing the name of the test everywhere in the log file is a possible workaround, but is not elegant at all.)
As these changes preserve the TestID, a solution would be to have an option in the Log Analyzer to compute the statisics by TestID.
What do you think?

I am not 100% sure this option will be implemented in nearest version 9.00, but probably it will be there.

+1
If you are fine tuning patterns for naming consistency and you use the Denomination button it can get messy. |

Does "+1" mean you want to try Beta version as well?
Then please send request to support@ks-soft.net.
AlexL uses this version for a week or two, no bug reports so far, I assume everything works fine
