MSDE wil run on windows 98, but not on windows 95. Perhaps a good reason for those users to make an upgrade ???? For a monitoring application it does not sound like the most stable platform possible......

If it would be my choice, I would prohibit use of Windows 95/98/ME in commercial environment worldwide. Especially as platform for monitoring, because its funny when unstable Windows 98 monitoring much more stable Windows NT
But.. I don't know may be some people dosn't have money or time to buy upgrade?
