|

Hi,
In addition to the question about SLA reports, I think it woul dbe great, to be able to schedule downtime.
If I for example know, that on Saturday the xx, this server will be down for 8 hours for maintenance.
Now it would be great, to add a service window. I set up the timeslot of the planned service, and and what tests/folders it applies for.
Now when the server doesn't answer, these tests will be marked on the test reply in the log, and when calculating up/downtime, these tests will be counted as scheduled downtime. So when doing your SLA, these tests won't count.
Hope I have made myself clear..
Best regards,

Also I like the pause added but can we expand that to include downtime. For example we always have downtime on a Sat from 7 o 12. If I could add that so it runs automaticaly then If I forget it doesn't generate al of the alerts and mess with the reports. |

Sounds like you need to use Schedule, this option was implemented in HostMonitor version 1.

Alex,
Anything new on this one..?
What I really need, is the ability to schedule Pause in the future.. Right now, "from" time is always now.. So, a little bit difficult to pause testing of some server/network unit that is planned to restart a 2am on a special date..
Can this be done..? |

"Planned pause" option will be implemented in next version of HostMonitor.
BTW: There are 2 options that can help you right now:
- Schedule assigned to the test
- scheduled HM Script action with PauseTest command

Alex,
This will be a handy feature for us, when you come to code this feature would it be possible to have features such as every 2nd Tuesday of month from start time to end time?
We have monthly maintenance windows between specific times and this feature would be very handy for us to specify every maintenance window for the year.

No, such option is not implemented.
Probably you can use holidays list for such purpose?
