|
|
Hi,
We are using a lot of NTLog monitors (System/Application etc.) and from time to time we discover EventIDs that we consider "noise" and want to filter them out. So we obviously use the "Any except the following" list feature on the monitor properties.
But... the thing is that these IDs are common to all our (existing + future) tests and it seems that the only way to add is to open each and every test and add the individual EventIDs to each. And when you have 100 NTLog monitors, adding a few EventIDs to each is tiring...
Am I missing an easier way to do it?
Is there a way to simply plug a variable into this list somehow and in the variable define the EventIDs?
Thanks!

I think you may use Export/Import feature available thru menu File. You may create View that will display all NT Event Log test items, export all displayed test items into text file and use any text editor to modify the list (Find&Replace function). Then insert "ImportMode = Modify" line into the file and use menu "File" -> "Import from text file" to modify test settings.
