Hi i have install active rma on a remote server, i have opened the outbound port on the firewall. i have host monitor install at main office, with same port as above open and poing to the monitioring server
i continue to recieve conection error,
is there a way to test where the problem lies

Connection error? What exactly is error message and where exactly do you see it?
If you see "RMA: connection error" message in Reply field of the test, this means you created record for Passive RMA instead of Active RMA.
When Active RMA is not connected to HostMonitor, test items will show "RMA not connected" error.

Sure, you may check log files used by the agent. Also you may use HostMonitor's menu "View" -> "Active RMA Status" to check why HostMonitor does not accept connection from the agent (or does not receive connection request at all).is there a way to test where the problem lies
