I am trying to get Host Monitor to send alerts via Jabber but I am having problems with logging on to the Openfire server.
I have disabled SSL in Openfire and I have set up the options in Host Monitor as JID USERNAME Server SERVER and password XXX
I am using Active directory for LDAP authentication in Open fire and the Spack client connects fine.
I have tried username and username@server and still get the same problem.
The error in the syslog is
Error: Cannot send message to Jabber account adminname@servername. Your username or password is incorrect; <error code="401" type="auth"><not-authorized xmlns="urn:ietf:params:xml:ns:xmpp-stanzas"/></error>
I am using Host Monitor 7.22c, Openfire 3.5.2 |

Not sure what is the problem
Could you enable debugging to get more information from the LDAP module? To do this you should add <log><debug><enabled>true</enabled></debug></log> to openfire.xml file. Log statements should be written to the logs\debug.log file.
Regards
