All questions related to installations, configurations and maintenance of Advanced Host Monitor (including additional tools such as RMA for Windows, RMA Manager, Web Servie, RCC).
I am monitoring quite a bit of logfiles, and reflecting on what purpose this has in "real life", I assume that we more or less never has reacted instantly on a logfile test showing "bad", but mostly use the testresult(s) as history/reference.
And a lot of employees will never let me remove logfile monitoring for "that is what we always has done it" reasons
So how do I create an action that just reset the test back to "ok" instantly after the log has been "bad"? I have found that retest not always set back to "ok". So what to do?
1) If you need advice or you have configuration related question use "Installation and configuration" forum. Use "Problems and bugs" forum when something works incorrectly
2) What exactly test method do you use? Text Log? Compare Files? NT Event Log?
Then you may add "Repeat test" action into alert profile assigned to the test. HostMonitor will recheck the log and set Ok status when cannot find NEW "bad" record.
