Cannot change Addr if not closed

Post by jromariz »

Hi,

We are trying to transfer hostmon from the current computer to a better one. No problems during transfer. The olny problem occurs when we try to "Reverse Alert" any test performed by hostmonitor agent´s. When we refresh the test, we get a window saying "Cannot change Addr if not closed". Hostmon continues to run but this happens every time we Reverse Alert on any test executed by agent.

Any ideas?

Thanks.

I do not think it has anything to do with "reverse alert" option
Could you please provide more information?
- HostMonitor version?
- RMA Version?
- Windows?
- Service Pack?
- What exactly test methods lead to such error?

Regards

That's very strange... Such error description is in use by module that performs POP3, HTTP, Mail Relay test methods plus Send E-Mail action.
It has nothing to do with HostMonitor<->RMA communication or "File availability" test method...

Probably error appears after test execution? Have you added "Send e-mail" action into alert profile assigned to the test? If yes, could you Disable alerts for testing?

Do you have installed some antivirus monitors, personal firewall, content monitoring software? Non stanard winsock components?

Alex,

Once again you are right. The problem was the antivirus program that was blocking the send mail action configured on the test.

Thanks a lot for helping and sorry for the silly mistake
