Does appstatus.exe have the capability to check the process on a UNC path?
such as
appstatus.exe \\Server01 -n iexplore.exe -win

No, it cannot check remote systems. Unless you install RMA on that system and perform test using RMA
Usage:> appstatus <procID> | -n <proc_name> [ -limit # | -limit all ] [-win]
