Handling "out of schedule"

Post by fve »

Hi

If a test not getting OK before it get out of time schedule, I wonder why it is not markt RED like a BAD test will be markt RED.

I ask because when I log in to HM and want a quick view, I only look at test markt RED=BAD, but all my "out of schedule" test is not displaying the RED mark?

"Schedule" is used to stop checks for some period. Usually you need to skip monitoring of some device due to "normal" inactivity of the device.
I think current status of the device and 10hours old status are different things. Am I right?
That's why "Out of schedule" status has nothing to do with "Bad" status.
If you want to know what status was assigned some time ago, you may check "Last status" field of the test.

Hi

Yes you are right, wee do it already.

But the problem is:
If a schedule is from 0600-1200. And the test is bad when the schedule ends, i think it will be good if there are a way I can find all that test on a fast way.

Sounds like you need "expression" mode for Views  If we implement such mode, you will be able to use expression like "('%Status%'=='Out of schedule') and ('%LastStatus%'=='Bad')" to select test items you need.
I made a note.
