Web view settings not retained

Post by greyhat64 »

One thing I've noticed regarding the web interface - I can change the column widths manually, but any subsequent action reverts back to default widths. :x
Is there any way to alter those defaults, or more desirable, have any manual changes retained?
And on the dashboard, I've noticed that folder entries that have no tests applied to them (for instance, a parent folder) does not show up in the dashboard. For readability I would like to see those - preferably with the subsequent columns (ping, tcp, etc.) greyed out with no numbers inserted.

Also, is there a way to utilize a different web server (IIS, Apache, etc)

Are you talking about "Folder tree" width in Web interface? There is a special "Folder section width: X pix" option on "Preferences" page.

You just should disable "Skip empty folders" option on "Preferences" tab.

Sorry, there is no such an option.

Thanks, I forgot that you change the web preferences from the web interface, not in the HM Options. Forgive me, I'm still trying to get my hands around it all.
BTW - your web service is streamlined & elegant, but I'm guessing I'm not the only one that has asked about integration into other web server environments. Has there been any thought to include that as an option in the next release.

Not sure. May be we can implement such option when SQL database will be used as standard logging and statistics storage. Version 8 or later
