Hi colleagues,
I've the same alert profile for different test.
Could i have different schedules(one for the working days and other for the week-end) for the same action (send e-mail) in one alert profile?
How i do it?
Many thanks in advance.

Re: different schedules for the same alert
In fact, you may adjust "Time Restriction" option for this action to make this action to behave differently at different days. http://www.ks-soft.net/hostmon.eng/mfra ... #TimeRestrdoniphon wrote:Could i have different schedules(one for the working days and other for the week-end) for the same action (send e-mail) in one alert profile?
For instance, you may create a "Schedule" to perfom action 24/7 in working days and only from 8:00 AM to 16:00 PM at the weekends, or something like that. You may define schedules with up-to-the-minute precision. Please, read the following article for details: http://www.ks-soft.net/hostmon.eng/mfra ... #Schedules

Probably, I do not understand your point. What exact "Schedule" do you mean? There is a "Schedule" for the test items, available via "Test Properties" window. Also there is a "Schedule" for actions, available via "Action Properties" window fo certain action.
Action profile (alert profile) itself does not have any schedules. Action profile contains actions. Each action can be customized per time of the day using its own schedule. Quote from the manual: http://www.ks-soft.net/hostmon.eng/mfra ... #TimeRestr
==================================
Time restriction Schedules can be applied to actions the same way they were used for tests. With schedules, actions can be customized per time of the day. For instance, an action profile can be set up to page both the IT manager and the network administrator during regular office hours, and to page the administrator alone the rest of the time, while doing nothing else but writing to the log on weekends. To make this possible, simply check the "Time restriction" option and select an appropriate schedule.
==================================
It means each action in alert profile may have its own schedule. For instance, you may add to alert profile two "Send Email" actions. For the first action you may enable "Time restriction" option and setup "Schedule" to start action only at working days. For the second action you may enable "Time restriction" option and setup "Schedule" to start action only at weekends. Also you may add third "Send Email" action without "Time Restriction" at all.
Could you explain your point in details? If I understood what goald you want to achieve, I would try to help you.
Regards,
Max
