I am trying this out for the first time, and like the features and understand that i can have the PC that I am using broadcast the findings of the program out on our LAN using a password and a created user, however I keep running into the problem that i can not get the page to pull the relevant info,
Response from Hostmonitor's Web Service:
Transmission error (Web Service <-> HostMonitor): "Connection error"
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Possible reasons:
- HostMonitor is not running
- RCI interface disabled
- HM Web Service configured incorrectly (wrong TCP Port or IP address)
- network problem
So what did i miss, since the rest of it seems so easy.
Trouble with the Web Interface.

Please make sure you have specified correct IP address (and port) of the system where HostMonitor is running into "RCI (HostMonitor)" area of "HM Web Service" window.

Please verify if RCI is enabled on HostMonitor's side (HostMonitor's menu Options > RCI).

On the other hand, it might be a firewall issue. Please ensure there is no fireall between system, where HostMonitor is running, and the system, where Web Service is running.
Could you send hostmon.ini file from HostMonitor's folder and webservice.ini from WebService's folder to support@ks-soft.net ?
Regards,
Max
