The server environment:win2k+sqlserver2k
According to the Host Monitor online documents, I install the sql server client, the version 2005. The client can connect the server. But there is no ntwdblib.dll file in the client computer. So I copy one to "C:\windows\system32". But still the test shows "no answer". I don't know why. 3x!

Re: Help: Sql server test
ntwdblib.dll is not included into the MS SQL client 2005. So, you need to install the MS SQL client 2000 to make it work. Another solution is to copy ntwdblib.dll into HostMonitor's folder or into "C:\windows\system32".kenford wrote:The server environment:win2k+sqlserver2k

So, what exact status do you have? "No Answer"? "Unknown"? If you get the "No Answer" status it means the test works properly, but you have specified wrong server, database, username or password.kenford wrote:So I copy one to "C:\windows\system32". The configuration of the sql client is all right, the client software can connect to the sql server.
And in the test properties dialog,
server : IP address(10.4.64.83)
database : the instance(DIOR-CAMPAIGN)
the username and the password are right.
So I don't know if the above configurations are all right.
