Hello,
I am running a test on about 50 items and each item I have 4 actions defined. 3 of the actions are the same for each item. But 1 of the actions a SNMP set is also defined on each object. I have to create a profile for each item and with all 4 actions. Is there a way to define more than one profile per item.

I think you use the same parameters for all SNMP actions, except "Agent address" parameter. Am I right?
In this case I can improve program to resolve macro variables in "Agent address".

Alex

Correct, the only difference is the IP address I am sending the SNMP set to.

Thank you for you timely answer to my question.

By the way this is an excellent program.

Thank you.
You can download patch http://www.ks-soft.net/download/hm305.zip
After this update you will be able to use macro variables in "Agent address" field (SNMP Set action). Also I added new macro %HostAddr% (represented name or address of a target system).

Regards
Alex

I seem to still have a problem running the %hostAddr% variable in the field for Agent Address. I receive a message "unknown host". Is this tied to the Address Field or Test Name.

Thank you

Variable %HostAddr% represents address of the target system. What version of HostMonitor do you use?
