Error Opening COM port ?

Hi,

Just got my license, but seems I am stuck when HM send phone alert using com port. I use Com3 to send messages and for some reason HM cant find com 3 and giving the following error:

Log (Port: TAPI, Baud rate: B1200, Init string: AUTO, Dial string: ATDP)

Error: Error Opening COM port (TAPI10000)
Next attempt to send message will be made in 15 sec

I tried all combinations in pager section.
How do i make HM to send pager maessage using COM3 ?

By default HostMonitor uses TAPI device (e.g. modem), not COM port. And you cannot specify port, you can select modem from the list or set "Auto select free TAPI device" option. So, which option do you use?

However HM has undocumented option that allows to use COM port. Add "FixedPagingPort=COM3" line into [Misc] section of hostmon.ini file and restart HostMonitor. Hope it will help
