in a action i execute a external programm with parameters
to generate a ServiceCall in our HelpDeskSystem
one variable is %MibValue%
%MibValue% contains crlf or cr or lf that's a problem
now the question, is there a way to replace this like i can do it
with normal characters with the "substitutefieldto-Paramter" in
the misc-section of the inifile
eliminate crlf ... from a variable
Sorry, HostMonitor cannot do that...
1) HM applies this undocumented option for %Reply% variable only
2) you cannot use CR, LF as parameters of the option
I think we can do something with item #2. But I don't think its a good idea to apply this undocumented option to all macro variables.
So, if you may use "Display: counter value" option of the test and %Reply% variable instead of %MibValue%, I will add your request (item #2) into "to do" list.
