Is it possible to generate reports based on a partial match to a test name across multiple folders?

We have our tests organised into specific categories (based on what we are monitoring - for example services, drive space, etc), rather than for specific systems (for example mail server, file server, etc).

As a result of this organisation, we have not yet found a way of reporting on a single system (which may have tests spread across multiple folders).

Our naming convention for tests always includes the system name at the start of any test name, so could this be used in some way to "filter" tests for a report?

For example:

FOLDER1:
SYSTEM1 (Ping)
SYSTEM2 (Ping)

FOLDER2:
SYSTEM1 (Application Check)
SYSTEM2 (SQL CHeck)

FOLDER3:
SYSTEM1 (Drive Space)
SYSTEM2 (Drive Space)

Can I generate a report for all tests (regardless of folder) that contain "SYSTEM1" in the test name?

I hope this makes sense...

Cheers,
Frilby

You may use Custom HTML report with Java script that checks %TestName%variable.
http://www.ks-soft.net/hostmon.eng/mframe.htm#profiles.htm#CustomHTML

Test Items section should be like this:
Code:
<SCRIPT type="text/javascript">
  var test_name = '%TestName%';
  if (test_name.indexOf('Filter_Test_Name') != -1)
     document.write('%TestName%, %Reply%, etc.<BR>');
--></script>

Or something like that
Of course, instead of 'Filter_Test_Name' you should specify partial name of your system.

Regards,
Max
