SMS run Commands

A nice feature to have would be the ability to send SMS in to the server and run Commands/Programs, you should be able to configure by the originated SMS number who can run the available commands. If you have sensitive commands, for example server restarts, for Extra Security the SMS server could send an SMS back to the originator with a code that he/she should SMS back in xx minutes.

You want to manage HostMonitor remotely using SMS? Not sure we will implement such option

No, it would be used to run other commands on the PC which is running HM, example

I create a program that retrieves information from Active Directory and call it PHONE, I send an SMS in to the system and if my phonenumber is in the accepted list, I can run the command.

SMS to PC : PHONE Eric Andersen
the program PHONE is executed and retrieves information from AD and send an SMS to the phone with Eric's phone number.

Not sure this is task for HostMonitor

I think there are a lot of specialized software for such purpose.
