I am having a problem! I have a test setup where it will send a message to a page with TAP protocol it works just fine as long as a user is logged into the machine but when a user logs out off of the machine then the TAP doesnt send.
I am using version 3.71 on a W2k sp4 machine with a USR Faxmodem not a winmodem. this has been working fairly good for years till about 3 months ago and I have finally seem to narrow down what is wrong. I also have hostmonitor running as a service and have even tried to have the service interract with the desktop and not interract with the desktop and this does not seem to help. But when I stay login into the machine it work fine. Now emails will work great no matter if i am logged i or what.
problems with sending a message with tap protocol
Sounds like you have 2 instances of HostMonitor running - one instance started as application (and it sends messages), another started in service mode (this instance cannot send message).
Am I right?
BTW: Latest version of HostMonitor - 5.92. I would recommend to try it, may be problem was fixed 2 years ago?
Regards
Alex
