I can test internal websites fine, but when I try to test outside sites using our proxy all I get is "bad" results. When I click on the "test" button in the advanced window I get following error:
Test Status: Bad
Error code: 502
Error msg: Proxy Error ( The ISA Server denies the specified Uniform Resource Locator (URL). )
I have set the proxy settings exactly like the ones in my browser which works fine obviously. Any ideas?
I'm running HostMon 5.82 on WinXP.
Thanx
"Proxy Error" with http test
Not sure what exactly is wrong...
You are using ISA Server, right? Which one? ISA Server 2000? ISA Server 2004?
HostMonitor is started as service? application?
I found some Microsoft articles that may help:

I have not had the opportunity to troubleshoot this anymore.
Just FYI in case it helps.
ISA Server 2000 and it gives me that error either as a service or as application. And we use proxy authorization, but that's not the issue, because I get an authorization error when I leave the password blank.
If that doesn't ring a bell, don't worry, I still want to try what Microsoft said on their help pages.
