Out of System Resources
Out of System Resources
Hi Alex - I'm running HM ver. 5.66 as a service on a W2K3 server standard edition with 4gb RAM & 4-3.00GHz cpu's. I have 2542 tests, mostly PING and UNC checks. Once a week I run out of system resources and have to stop and restart the service. Is their some type of memory leak? I've also sent snapshots to your email address. I had this same type of problem in the past, but thought it was due to the old hardware. Now I'm up to date and still see the same problem.
Accourding to snapshots HostMonitor is not a reason of the problem.
HostMonitor uses 49MB of memory and system still has a lot of free memory.
Windows complains about different kind of resources. As I see there are over 19,000 handles in use, HostMonitor uses just 441 handles. It means some other application cause this problem. What application uses a lot of Handles, GDI and User objects?
Regards
Alex
