I solved it! I bet you use Internet Explorer objects for URL request test.

My hostmon server is placed in a secure DMZ and cannot initiate any internet connection except of set allowed on firewalls ...

Alex, I think the very first HostMonitor setup welcome window is not good. Let's try it with Terminal Services and resolution 800x600. It it too large.

BTW what is the advantage of HML Manager? Are there some features which are not in HostMonitor itself? It is a little bit confusing.
