Views errors
I love the new Views feature! Unfortunately it stopped working for some unknow reason. I can see that it is filtering accoriding the the view I have define (a simple "All Bad Tests" view). But nothing is actually there. When I touch either of the window panes I get a series of access vilat...

Scalability and Logging
I was wondering what the most number of tests can be expected out of a server quality machine is. We are currently have 5,000 test runnning on a dual processor machine with SCSI RAID 5. Many of these tests run every two minutes. This adds up to a lot of tests quite quickly. It is working fine but th...

RMA Error 301
We have one configuration where 1 server runs the RMA agent across the internet from our Hosmton console. It tests 5 other servers. 3 of them (Dell Servers) test fine with every type of test. 2 other test fine on most. But on these they will intermittently miss half of the Service tests saysing (err...

Continuing problems after reboot
We are still having issues after rebooting servers which are running the RMA 1.07. After the reboot with no apparent pattern we will lose connection to the RMA. The log2.txt reports that the port is probably in use. No configuration changes were made before the reboot. Typically we will have to user...

Test counter in Main Console
Alex,
In the web interface there is a test counter next to each folder. (Total/Bad/Unknown). Can this be implement in the main console screen? It would be helpful becasue when the folders are collapsed I cannot tell if a new test has gone bad.

Remote monitoring
Alex, We are a consulting fimr with lots of small clients. We install Host Monitor at the client sites and have hostmonitor generate html reports and then we automatically ftp them to our webserver. This is great but we cannot see all the clients reports on one screen. We have to check each one indi...

Alex, Can you add a SLEEP or PAUSE function for all testing? Currently there is only a STOP function. Which means if you forget to START hostmonitor again no tests will be performed (until we realize we screwed up and START hostmonitor again). The reason for this feature is so when we are working on...

All, I recently created a series of templates for the the text import feature Alex has in HostMonitor. They cover basic Windows 2000 service, port, cpu and drive space tests. I wrote them to speed up the implementation of HostMonitor on many W2K servers. It elimates the drudgery of clicking all the ...

Thanks Alex. I have just copied the COMMENT line to each test definition. Is there an appropriate place for me to upload files for other HostMonitor users to have? I can only seem to past the contents of the file into a new post on this Buletin Board. These files will save other users time and make ...
