System Info is good for a deeper dig, but I don't use it much. It doesn't work on our RMAs (all active) though I see in the help that it's supposed to. Is that a config setting I've got wrong? This test just gives a quick overview at a glance on the main screen. Typically it will look something like...

We did order a new version for a client site, but we haven't upgraded our own install yet. I should get onto that. The PowerShell test I created does use that output format, but it can't get any information to return. The test returns the disk sizes, installed RAM, number of CPUs & cores, and wh...

HostMonitor version 1s 11.98. In this instance the test is running directly from AHM, but we also run it on other sites with an RMA, and it works OK there. I wasn't aware of the difference between Active Script and Shell Script, but I'd like to move all the VBScript to PowerShell for future compatib...

Active Script authentication problem

I'm having problems running a VBscript ActiveScript on a 2019 server on our domain. The script runs fine on all of our other 38 servers, including some other 2019 ones. All other standard tests on this server, such as disk space, CPU, top process, free memory etc all run fine. The AHM server user is...

Well I guess that would be the easiest solution.
Thanks Alex.

It's a Windows 2019 server. Is it possible to do?

Otherwise I could script a solution, saving the results of the scheduled CPU test to a text file and processing that. It's a messy solution though.

Another alert question

I've been asked to set up an alert for when the CPU usage on a certain server is at 100% for 5 minutes.
I can't see how to do this without setting the warning threshold to 100%, but I don't want to do that as it messes with our normal reporting.
Is it possible to do this some other way?

Now I have another problem. I would like to create a good status action for when the device comes back online again. However since this uses a logical expression I'm not able to use the "depends on a bad action" option, and I can't work out how to limit it to one reply, and only after the ...

Export custom folder variables

When I set up AHM I created custom folder variables to hold the description and location of each device. I need to update some of this information now, but first I need to export these variables to see which ones need to be updated. They're not currently used in any tests so they don't show up in an...

HML file historical data retention

Just out of curiosity, how much historical data will AHM save in an HML file, if it's storing statistics and recurrences in the HML? Is it limited by file size, number of tests, time or something else, or not limited at all?

Master test alert scheduling

I want to send an alert when a device doesn't respond to a ping test after three minutes. I scheduled the ping test for every three minutes, and set an alert to send after two failed results, but I've found a problem. I've set the ping test as a master test for all the other tests on each device. Th...

That failed to move or delete the CSV file, I guess the ODBC driver locks the file.
Unless someone knows of another possible solution I'll have to use a database. As I mentioned before I'd welcome a suggestion for a preferred database.
