Was running a program on a remote server ever implimented?

If there is a test that is running through the RMA client and the test returns "Bad" then can you have Host Monitor "command" the remote server to run a program locally?

Thanks

Multiple tests - have one alert

We have 44 process tests set up for this one remote machine. What we need to have is an alert that will send out one page/email if any one of those processes goes bad. I know that we can set up an alert for each one of those tests but if all 44 of them went down at the same time we would get 44 page...

PATH variables

I checked the System and User variables and that was not it. In fact the only variables that the User table had was TEMP and TMP. I went ahead and copied the PATH variable from the System table (which does include the paths for the Oracle DLLs) to the User table and that did not help. Do you have an...

ODBC info

Sir,

We are using the System DSN.
We are using the "Microsoft ODBC for Oracle" - 2.537.6526.00
I do not see any errors in the Windows event log (just the normal start and stop of the service)

I did report a problem similar to this one. I will try and find the email.

Thanks

App vs Service mode again

Sorry to be bringing this up again but we are still having problems. We have an ODBC Query test that works perfectly when Host Monitor is in App mode but fails on the very first occurrence in Service mode. Here are the details: HM 4.10 on a Windows 2000 SP4 box (fully patched) Options service tab is...

AHM response as # of tests increase....

Host Monitor ver: 4.42 OS: Windows 2000 Server sp4 I am having trouble with Host Monitor as the number of tests increase and the schedule times are very close together. We are running about 900 tests (I know, that isn't that many) and 255 of them are set to run every 20 seconds. This makes the inter...

Has the import function been implemented so it will work with folders now?

HML editor?

Is there an HML editor? I know that there is an HML Manager but this does not give me the control I need. I need to copy large amounts of tests (over 150) to different directories. Is there something out there like notepad that can do the job?

Thanks
